The Meet & Treat Story

Our family has always loved animals, and over the years, we've taken in and cared for as many as we possibly could. But scrolling through Facebook and reading the constant, daily pleas for help from local rescues and non-profits, the massive scale of the need became impossible to ignore.

The heartbreaking reality is that I can't adopt them all. But I still wanted to do something to help. That's how Meet & Treat was born right here in Catoosa, Oklahoma. Instead of just asking our neighbors to open their wallets, we built a way to turn everyday mobile gaming into a direct funding pipeline. When you play games on our app, the net ad revenue generated goes directly to buying real-world supplies for local shelters. You play, they eat.

Frequently Asked Questions

πŸ’¬ Is this actually free? How does playing a game feed an animal?
Yes, it is 100% free for you. The games are funded by digital advertisements. When you successfully complete a game, ad revenue is generated. We aggregate that revenue and use it to fund the shelters. Your time is your donation.
πŸ’¬ What is the difference between Meals and Paws?
"Meals" (or Kibble) are funded automatically just by you seeing an adβ€”this revenue goes to the shelter to buy necessities. "Paws 🐾" are digital points you earn by winning games, which you can choose to "spend" on specific animals to help them hit their ad-revenue milestones!
πŸ’¬ Are "Paws 🐾" real money?
No. Paws 🐾 are a "Virtual Currency" used exclusively within the platform to track community impact and direct our ad-revenue distributions. They cannot be withdrawn, sold, or traded for real-world fiat currency.
πŸ’¬ Are these real animals?
Yes! Every animal on the "Needs Sponsors" page is a real, adoptable pet currently living in a local shelter or clinic in the Tulsa/Catoosa area.

Financial Transparency & Status

Not a 501(c)(3): Meet & Treat is a for-profit social enterprise platform. We are not a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We operate as a pass-through entity that generates ad revenue and pledges those funds to verified animal rescues.

Tax Deductions: Because you are not spending your own money, and because we are not a 501(c)(3), your gameplay and the ad revenue generated on your behalf are not tax-deductible for the user.

Net Revenue Definition: Ad revenue is distributed based on Net Revenue. This means the funds distributed to shelters are calculated after necessary platform operating costs (such as cloud server hosting, database fees, and ad-network processing fees) have been paid. We only keep what is necessary to keep the servers running.

Terms of Service (House Rules)

1. Acceptable Use

By creating an account, you agree to play our games fairly. The use of automated bots, scripts, autoclickers, or any software designed to artificially inflate scores, Paws 🐾, or ad impressions is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate permanent ban. Ad revenue is directly tied to supporting animal shelters; fraudulent activity harms this mission.

2. Limitation of Liability (The "As-Is" Clause)

Meet & Treat is provided on an "as-is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties regarding the uptime of our servers. In the event of a server crash, database reset, or technical error, Meet & Treat is not liable for the loss of gameplay data, High Scores, or Paws 🐾. Remember, Paws have $0.00 real-world cash value.

3. Economy Adjustments

Meet & Treat reserves the right to adjust the earning rate of Paws, reset leaderboards, archive adopted animals, or modify the virtual economy at any time to ensure the financial sustainability of the platform.
